Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: email, optional display name and mobile number, and authentication identifiers if you use social login.

Fitness data: workouts you log (including optional GPS paths), goals, profile metrics (e.g. height, weight), optional subjective recovery check-ins and session RPE, and related timestamps.

Device data: basic technical information needed to run the app (e.g. OS version), and push notification tokens if you enable notifications.

Optional integrations: when you enable them, we may read or receive summaries from Apple Health or Health Connect (e.g. steps, distance, energy); Bluetooth heart-rate straps may stream BPM to the app during supported workouts; meal photos you upload are sent to our servers for estimate-only analysis.

Exports: when you generate CSV, GPX, or text coach-pack summaries, you instruct the app to assemble data you already stored — treat shared copies like any sensitive file.

Website: basic server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) when you browse this site.

2. How we use information

To provide and improve the app: syncing your data, showing progress, estimates, and features you choose to use.

To secure accounts, troubleshoot issues, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Storage and retention

Data is stored on our servers (or processors we use) while your account is active. You may request deletion subject to legal retention requirements.

4. Sharing

We may share data with service providers who assist us (e.g. hosting, analytics) under contracts that protect your information.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Location

Outdoor tracking uses device location when you grant permission. You can revoke location access in system settings; some features will not work without it.

6. Your choices

You can access and update much of your information in the app. You may delete your account or ask for help with data requests via support.

In the app: Profile → Export & coach pack (portable copy). Profile → Delete all my data (permanent erasure). Profile → Deactivate account.

7. Children

Calburns is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). Do not register if you do not meet the age requirement.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date in the app and on this page. Material changes may be highlighted when reasonable.
